CS Ubuntu - Conflict Studies and Human Rights

www.csubuntu.nl

CS Ubuntu is the study association for Conflict Studies and Human Rights, affiliated with the Center for Conflict Studies at Utrecht University. As such, CS Ubuntu provides conflict studies-related activities in an international social setting, with the combined aims of knowledge sharing, capacity building, and career orientation. We organize lectures, study trips as well as social gatherings and insightful topic-related events throughout the year. All of our activities are conducted in English. As an open study association, we take an interdisciplinary approach and welcome all who are interested in the ever-relevant academic fields of conflict studies and human rights. We are open to students from all academic backgrounds that are interested in current world events. Over the years, CS Ubuntu has had many members from a vast diversity of backgrounds, both in terms of nationality and in terms of academic specialisation. Indeed, we have members from three different faculties of Utrecht University – the faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance and the faculty of Social Sciences – as well as exchange students from all over the world. For more information, please visit our website: www.csubuntu.nl, or send an email to info@csubuntu.nl. For updates and an overview of upcoming events, see www.facebook.com/CSUbuntu.
