Macat - Critical Thinking
www.macat.comAt MACAT we are industry leaders in understanding, promoting and delivering Critical Thinking tools to employers and the education industry. It is our belief that we are changing the future, by shaping the thinking power of a generation. The brain is a powerful tool, and critical thinking enables us to unlock its potential. Thinking critically enhances our ability to solve complex problems, generate new ideas, process information more efficiently, make better decisions and improve productivity. As a skill, it is beginning to be seen as essential for success in today’s world of fast-moving information, ever-changing technology and Artificial Intelligence. At an individual level it can help to fast-track careers; at a corporate level it can create competitive advantage by building first-class teams. Our programme measures existing skill levels, covering the most important thinking skills – known as PACIER. These comprise Problem-solving, Analysis, Creative thinking, Interpretation, Evaluation and Reasoning. The focus is then on identifying skill gaps, and developing and improving these key skills, enhancing the ability to solve complex problems, generate new ideas, process information more efficiently, improving productivity by making better decisions.
