CPD Y Rhyl 1879 is a brand new football club that has replaced Rhyl FC - one of the proudest teams in Welsh Football. The Club previously won the national league twice in 2004 and 2009 and have represented Wales in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. They play at the Belle Vue Stadium which has a seating capacity of 1,700 and has regular hosted UEFA Under 19's Internationals and UEFA Europa League games involving other Welsh Clubs in recent seasons.
