Problem: Bitcoin trading software for daytraders should preferably be open-source, for reasons of transparency. The leading open-source application is Qt Bitcoin Trader, in use by 30000 traders worldwide. With open-source solutions, however, the financing of advanced software becomes a problem. Solution: Since joining Centrabit as CTO, Mr. Ighor July, the developer of Qt Bitcoin Trader, is extending its capabilities and features. The application will also become more valuable for exchanges, who will be invited to co-operate around API integration and customer recruitment.
