I am a self employed Technology Consultant specializing in DevOps, monitoring solutions and public and private cloud infrastructure. I am a Linux and MySQL expert and DevOps engineer with over 15 years experience creating solutions for complex IT problems. I have created infrastructure as code architectures, continuous integration/deployment and configuration management solutions for several clients of varying sizes from start-ups to large public sector organisations. I design, build and maintain highly available, resilient and scalable public and private cloud, virtualisation solutions, built using commercial, Enterprise and Open Source products, predominantly running on Linux. I am well versed in current Continuous Integration/Development solutions, orchestration and automation tools such as Salt, Puppet, CFEngine and Ansible, as well as monitoring solutions, firewalls, network and application security. I also create bespoke, scripted solutions and web sites in Python, PHP and Bash.
