NAGP developed a patent-pending environmentally friendly natural fiber pulping technology for use in paper or paperboard products. With this enzymatic technology, NAGP will be first to offer a 100% made-in-USA, environmentally friendly, unbleached and high-quality natural fiber (wheat straw pulp) to reduce dependence on use of plastic for food-safe products, and the harvest of trees for paper. NAGP's unique production process easily separates all nutrients and fiber from locally sourced wheat-straw or any fibrous ag residues, and does so with 50% less energy and 0 waste-water to be treated or disposed of. Nutrients left-over from pulp production are then returned to local farms for use as organic matter fertilizer in a closed-loop system, benefiting farmers and the environment.
