Education Technology (also known as “EdTech”) refers to an area of technology devoted to the development and application of tools (including software, hardware, and processes) intended for education. EdTech Estonia is a non-profit umbrella organization for 35+ edtech startups in Estonia. Our members cover target groups from toddlers to adult learners and everything in between. Their solutions are equally as diverse, covering topics such as mental health, school management, language learning, financial literacy, environmental skills and many more. EdTech Estonia supports the ecosystem through a yearly hackathon, enabling new startups to take shape. Existing members are offered collaboration opportunities, relevant workshops, export contacts in their target markets, PR support and more. We are a strategic partner for the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia. EdTech Estonia also collaborates with major universities to fulfill a practical role in scientific research carried out in the broader field of edtech.
