We started ProAndroidDev in April 2017 aiming to consolidate great Android Dev blog posts in one place. Time flies, and now we’re at 40K+ followers on Medium.com, 100+ authors, and 10+ media partners. We’re very proud to be trusted by experienced authors and Google Developer Experts on Android as well! ProAndroidDev and droidcon Global have worked together since the very beginning to share information about upcoming droidcon events. Moreover, our Editorial team is actively involved in program committees and we speak regularly at numerous droidcon events. One day we realized that the missions of both projects sounded very similar, and we felt like we could unlock untapped potential by joining our efforts. In 2019 ProAndroidDev became part of the droidcon Global team.
