The Tamburitzans are dedicated to perpetuating international cultural heritages through entertaining performance - while awarding scholarships to talented and deserving students attending a Pittsburgh-based university. Formerly the Duquesne University Tamburitzans founded in 1937 the group became an independent non-profit organization under the Pittsburgh International Folk Arts Institute in 2016.
