Launched in October 2017, Montreal Esports is a business founded by Paul Sen, with Georges Saint-Pierre as a co-owner. Montreal Esports’ prime objective is to become the e-sports market leader in the city of Montreal, in the province of Quebec, throughout Canada and this, in the nearest future. Montreal Esports’ intentions are to accompany regional and national semi-professional players on their road towards the international professional level for multiple e-sports targeted games. Following in the steps of its owner and of other great sportsmen, Montreal eSports advocates proper food and health balance. The Montreal Esports offices cover 4,000 square feet in the heart of the gaming industry, right on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal. In a modern, uncluttered environment, the players will find the “Arena” — a space providing ultra-modern state-of-the-art equipment in order to perfectly conduct video game tournaments on computers — as well as a semi-professional studio and stage management for recordings and live streams via its Twitch channel. The Grizzlys team is a Montreal Esports division. Six teams have been assembled for the following six video game titles: 1. League of Legends; 2. Counter Strike: Global Offensive; 3. Hearthstone; 4. Super Smash Bros. 4; 5. Street Fighter V; 6. Overwatch. The recruited players all followed the same recruitment process, via try-out tournaments created and organized by Montreal eSports. The Grizzlys’ roster total 25 players.
