With a range of more than a thousand different weather and measuring instruments, TFA Dostmann GmbH & Co. KG is one of the leading companies in the industry in Europe. Founded in 1964, the company is a family business and has been run by Axel Dostmann since 1993. The company head office is located in Reicholzheim (near Wertheim, Germany) and employs about 100 people. Typically, TFA processes around 80,000 orders per year – the equivalent of 6.5 million product sales to consumers in 80 different countries. TFA production TFA has established a modern in-house production facility in Reicholzheim for mechanical thermometers, barometers, hygrometers and compasses. On a production area of more than 6,300 square meters, two million measuring capillaries are automatically calibrated every year, as well as carrying out other production processes.
