Elemental Music is a nonprofit organization in the Santa Monica community. Originally founded by the Maestro Foundation, Elemental Music is an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves the community of Santa Monica with a focus on the rewarding and engaging ensemble experience. We have served over 2,700 students in our programs since 2004! Elemental Music celebrates music-making and builds community through exceptional youth education programs. Our programs include: Elemental Strings Orchestras (Sinfonia and Chamber Orchestra) for elementary school-aged string students Prelude Program a beginning strings ensemble for elementary school-aged string students Elemental Band, a concert band experience for elementary school-aged woodwind, brass and percussion students Academy Philharmonic, a full orchestra program for middle school-aged string, woodwind, and brass students Elemental Guitar, an ensemble experience for elementary and middle school-aged guitar students Elemental Choir, an introductory choral program for elementary school-aged students Bergmann Program/Encore, year-round music lessons for local qualified students in grades 4 through 12
