The Westchester School for Special Children is a New York State Approved, private non-profit school serving children with disabilities from New York City, Stamford Ct., the County of Westchester, City of Yonkers and surrounding areas. The school was founded in 1983 and moved to Yonkers in 1990 where we purchased the former Blessed Sacrament High School at 45 Park Avenue. The Westchester School over 250 children with special needs from the Metropolitan area at two program sites, both in Yonkers. We currently employ over 160 people (Close to 100 from City of Yonkers).
