The Global Education Partnership is a social enterprise that provides quality education to underprivileged students in China and cultivates next-generation global leaders and thinkers through transformative service-learning programs. GEP's innovative projects, YEMS (Yunnan Ethnic Minority School) and SETT (Social Entrepreneurship Think Tank), have impacted over 5,000 students in rural China, where less than 10% of the students could attend high school. Over the past 7 years, more than 30 students with financial difficulties have received scholarships through the program to continue their higher education. Dozens of program alumni from the U.S., China, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Costa Rica were inspired to initiate projects with a focus on sustainable social impact. The program was acknowledged by notable leaders including the best-selling author Carl Hobart, leadership guru Simone Sinek, and the philanthropist Andreas Widmer. It also gained support from Chinese Provincial Education Ministry and the U.S. education institutions.
