GLSMC provides instruction in oral and written language, including all aspects of vocabulary, grammar, literature, current events and tradition. The school is an active participant in the German community and is geared toward advancing cultural awareness among students and their families. GLSMC is excited to share the German culture with students of any age, race, religion, creed, gender, or ethnic origin. GLSMC is recognized, accredited and supported by national and international organizations including: German Language School Conference Central Agency for German Schools Abroad (Zentralstelle für das Auslandsschulwesen German Cultural Ministry (KMK) Federal Republic of Germany, Department of Exterior initiative “Schools: Partner for the Future”, where GLSMC was selected as a partner school. GLSMC is also a member of the German Language School Conference and its German teachers are members of the American Association of German Teachers (AATG).
