Since 1954 the Providence Volunteer Fire Department has proudly served Weddington, NC and the surrounding areas. Our fire district is currently home to about 9,000 residents and covers approximately 15 square miles of mostly residential area. The dedicated men and women of our department take great pride in providing superior protection to the local community and all members participate in rigorous training exercises and certification routines.
