A greener path There is no shying away from the fact that the global mining industry has its critics. For Norway, the oil and gas industries have no doubt had a big impact on the surrounding environment. That’s why our approach is different; we take pride in our considerate, responsible, modern mining techniques – all are sensitive to the surrounding environment, ecology and communities. Our evidence Securing a stable region for developing these much-needed resources is not just our vision; the European Union has officially named vanadium and phosphorus as ‘Critical Raw Materials’ – economically and strategically important for the European economy, but that have a high-risk associated with their supply. Our focus We are sitting on large, untapped mineral deposits, according to investigations so far. We are focusing our efforts on three high worldwide demand resources: vanadium, phosphates and titanium.
