Horizon is a nonprofit organization that is motivated by a deep compassion to rescue, restore and empower orphaned children in need. We create a Micro Community model where children can experience a nourishing family life. Our Micro Communities provide the loving care and practical training orphaned children need not just to survive, but to flourish. With support and education to empower them, our children grow up to be independent, self-sustaining adults who can then improve their own communities. Horizon wants to radically transform the way orphaned children are cared for by expanding our Micro-Community model around the world, while creating opportunities for people worldwide to engage in an experience of shared humanity and meaningful purpose.
