The Scituate Education Foundation is committed to promoting a community-wide culture of lifelong learning in Scituate, MA by funding innovative educational programs with the support of a diverse group of public and private organizations. The vision is that in doing so, Scituate (MA) will be recognized as a thriving, vibrant community that encourages innovation, collaborative thinking, problem solving, and skill development through diverse learning opportunities for all ages. The Foundation welcomes a wide-range of proposals - from those that feature the integration of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM) to literature, social science, music, and art-based projects to those that take a holistic approach to wellness education. Alignment with district educational priorities will be a major consideration for approval of school-based proposals. SEF, a 501(c)(3), relies on multiple sources of support including corporate donations and partnerships, state and federal grants, public and private foundations, as well as individual and matched donations.
