Kimberley Marine Support Base (KMSB) is the owner and developer of the $160 million Kimberley Marine Offloading Facility (KMOF), a contemporary marine infrastructure system developed specifically for Broome’s unique and extreme tidal fluctuations scheduled to be operational in 2024. KMOF has been designed to incorporate a floating wharf linked to a fixed causeway, allowing safe and efficient 24/7 operations regardless of tide depth. The facility will feature an innovative design aimed to deliver an efficient and tailored solution for a range of industries in the Northwest. The new facility will be operated by Peterson Energy Logistics, an international energy logistics provider and part of the Royal Peterson Control Union Group. Peterson has been delivering integrated logistics services for more than 50 years and is established in key energy hubs around the world with operations in the UK, Netherlands, Guyana, Trinidad, Qatar and Australia.
