Weatherdock AG develops and produces AIS-based safety equipment, tracking solutions and transceiver for an improved navigation for the maritime sector. The focus is on Tracking and Search and Rescue. In these fields, the company is a leading and worldwide accepted manufacturer. The products are used worldwide in commercial shipping, in public authorities as well as in pleasure boating. Weatherdock AG is a global player with projects in more than 30 countries around the world. Weatherdock AG is located in Nuremberg (Germany, Bavaria). All safety, tracking and navigation devices are developed there. The production also takes place at other locations, but only in Germany. The company was founded in 2003 by the three board members as a private limited company. Weatherdock AG is still managed by the three company founders Alfred Kotouczek-Zeise (CEO), Jürgen Zimmermann (CTO) and Wolfgang Werner (CTO).
