The Claude Moore Colonial Farm was a living history museum managed by The Friends of Claude Moore Colonial Farm at Turkey Run Inc (501(c)(3) #52-1216556). The open-air museum and resource center was a publicly supported non-profit corporation under a cooperative agreement with the National Park Service. CMCF opened in 1972 and closed permanently in 2018. The Farm’s mission was to engage the public about 18th-century agriculture and tenant living in 1771 Virginia.
