Stonelight
www.stonelight.comStonelight, LLC was founded in 1996 to answer a need for lighted pathway bollards that would withstand the harsh climate conditions found in Florida, other coastal areas in the United States, Central America and the Caribbean. All products are Patented and UL Approved. Stonelight offers solid precast concrete bollards with a variety of lighting sources: LED, HIDs, MR 16 & Fluorescent. Initially, Stonelight offered 9 Standard Designs in 7 Standard Sizes and 11 Standard Colors. After 2001, lighted and unlighted Security Bollards containing 6" diameter, concrete-filled, steel pipes extending beyond the base of the concrete bollard were introduced for protection from moving vehicles. When the "Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission" and the "Sea Turtle Conservancy" urged the coastal Florida County Governments and Code Departments to become more stringent in their requirements for approved light levels in turtle nesting areas, Stonelight introduced Amber LED lighting in their bollards that were approved for by the Commission for beach lighting during the turtle nesting season. The newest addition to the Stonelight line is a Solar Bollard, available in 7 designs and all standard colors. The 10" solar panel absorbs enough energy to operate the LED lights for 6 days of inclement weather in areas that get 5 hours of Winter sun. The included microprocessor and the motion detector enable the customer to determine the hours of operation.
