Performance Analysis UK is run by Head of Analysis Nick Gearing. Nick Gearing has previously worked as Head of Analysis & First Team Player Development Coach at Leyton Orient Football Club, having before that, created the analysis department at Gillingham Football Club. His most recent role in football was as a Video Recruitment Consultant with Brentford FC. Nick is currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate Degree (PhD) with the University of Birmingham, in which he is discovering the methods in which the best players in Europe have been developed in the best European Academies. Between this time, Nick has employed and managed many analyst and interns that have gone on to gain employment in professional football, as well as create their own analysis departments in non league football. Nick has himself used the Performance Analysis role to merge into a coaching role with Leyton Orient First Team. With his wide range of contacts, he has aided the creation of Analysis at England Lions Dodgeball, Bromley Football Club, M&M Academy and Cray Wanderers by recruiting and training analysts for these positions.
