The only national organization of the out-of-home advertising media industry in India. IOAA was formed and registered as a not-for-profit company under the Companies Act in 2007. Our members roster consists of all large media owners with pan – India presence as well as local associations who have media owners from respective regions as their members. The Founder-Members consist of Selvel Publicity, Selvel Advertising Group, Pioneer Publicity, Times OOH, Jagran Engage, Laqshya Group, J C Decaux & Clear Channel India. Its Members include the regional associations of media owners from all four regions of the country. As such, IOAA provides a national platform for the businesses in the Outdoor Media industry to work together for betterment of the industry through self regulation, adoption of code of best practices and the spread of state-of-art knowledge and technology. As part of its agenda to promote OOH medium, IOAA is preparing for a major foray into development of metrics, evidence-based learning and estimation, monitoring processes backed by detailed census. Besides, IOAA is also supporting the Indian Outdoor Survey (IOS) being executed by MRUC and funded by several media companies and agencies. IOAA has training and skill development as a major part of its agenda. Each year, several training workshops are held in different cities to which Media Companies and agencies are encouraged to participate.
