Change Agent Network, Inc
www.canintl.orgChange Agent Network, Inc. (CAN) is an international education non-profit organization. CAN believes that every child should have access to quality education, and in turn connects under-resourced African communities with Global Partners to launch local sustainable schools to break the cycle of poverty in Liberia. Since its inception in 2006, Change Agent Network has broken ground on over 16 schools in Liberia, West Africa and provides education to over 3,000 children. Our Founder's Story: Change Agent Network's founder, Eric Wowoh, is a former Liberian refugee, but now a permanent resident of the United States living in Dallas, Texas. As a young boy, Eric was captured by rebels during the Liberian civil war and was separated from his family. He was beaten and tortured until finally he miraculously escaped. For the next 15 years Eric traversed 11 West African nations. While living in a Nigerian refugee camp, a friend had given a computer and generator to Eric. In time, Eric mastered the computer and began training other refugees how to use it. In the next three years, Eric and his fellow refugees built two computer schools and trained over 700 refugees which forged the groundwork for Change Agent Network. We are a Christ-Centered Non-Profit 501 c (3) Organization
