On January 1, 1959, Mr. Jorge Salles Cuervo, a man of great knowledge and heir of a great tequila tradition, began producing his own tequila at the La Guarreña and La Regional factories. Over time, tequila "El Tequileño" became one of the most recognized brands in Mexico, thanks to its great quality and excellent taste that can only be found in the best tequilas.
