Named after the two massive pillars that the wise King Solomon set before the temple he built and dedicated to the Lord Almighty in Jerusalem, he named them Jachin (God establishes) and Boaz (In God is strength); [cf. I Kings 7:21; 2 Chron 3:17]. Similarly, Two Pillars Asset Management identifies with these ancient principles in our dedicated long term investment approach. We believe portfolio strength and stability can be found in owning companies that are most aligned with eternal truths established by God as He declared in His Holy Word. Two Pillars was founded by Carlos Lopez Jr., CKA in 2019. He has twenty six years of demonstrated multi-asset investment experience since graduating from NYU - Stern School of Business in 1994 (B.S. Finance, Economics). He is a Certified Kingdom Advisor and has been trained to provide Biblically wise financial advice. He has served asset managers, hedge funds, and investment banks in a variety of senior roles, including as a Lead Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Head of Trading. He currently lives in Southern California with his wife Kimberly (our part-time Client Services Coordinator).
