ABOUT US... Young Feminist Europe is an open platform that aims to amplify young feminist voices and activities from across Europe. In 2015, a group of young diverse Brussels based feminists decided to create a platform where like minded individuals could meet to discuss feminism. The group then evolved into an online community with the aim to provide safe spaces for young feminists to make meaningful contributions about the issues that matter to them and to engage with peers. Today Young Feminist Europe is keeping up with the original ethos of the platform by continuing to be a space that was created by young feminists for young feminists. Members come from different backgrounds from across Europe with the objective to build a European society that reflects intersectional feminist values. WHAT DO WE DO? 1) Grassroots activism – Organise and collaborate on feminist events, projects and initiatives mainly in Brussels that aim to make a social impact. 2) Digital activism – Engage with the wider online feminist community through campaigns, blogs and awareness raising based on solidarity. 3) Provide an open space for young feminists to implement their activism through writing, campaigns and projects at a national and European level.
