Our mission is to elevate the youth of Pinellas County through access to athletics and other skill-building programs where children from all backgrounds can learn, play, and grow together. Established in 1972, CFY proudly supports youth athletics programs and organizations with an emphasis on skill-building activities, reaching over 8,000 children annually and expanding. Funding efforts are aimed at providing the children of Pinellas County the opportunity to participate in their chosen activity unhindered by costs. CFY’s grant program funds thousands of participant registration fees, supports the purchase of equipment upgrades and safety measures, and assists qualified athletes striving to reach higher levels of competition on a regional/national level. This program offers community-based support to organizations who work with the underserved youth. The growth of CFY in the past 50 years includes the addition of a rapidly growing postsecondary scholarship program, funding assistance for youth arts and culture programming, and support for many other community initiatives and infrastructure projects, serving as a dynamic resource committed to creating lasting impacts in the lives of children.
