We are a commercial bakery based in Barnsley, Yorkshire, that serves some of the UKs leading restaurant chains, pubs, sandwich shops, food service providers and travel caterers. Started in 1952's by Emily Foster in the village of Mapplewell, the bakery has seen extensive growth since its humble beginnings. Still situated in the same village, the bakery has moved into large premises and since that move has gone on to expand these 4 separate times. We bake morning goods (brioche, rolls, buns), bread loaves, confectionery products, gluten free products, specialty breads and breakfast products such as muffins and scones. Even with the growth of the company we have always kept the same family values that the company was started with, even currently 3 members of the Fosters family work at the bakery today.
