Environmental Restoration Group, Inc. (ERG) was incorporated in New Mexico in 1991 to provide consulting services to the nuclear industry. Our expertise in radiological site characterization, risk assessment, procedures development, field and laboratory instrumentation, and radiation safety allow us to support clients in all phases of their operations, from radioactive license preparation through decommissioning. All ERG personnel actively participate in field activities for a portion of the year. These field experiences have led to the development of some of the most innovative methods for radiological characterization. The innovations include: + Automatic 3-dimensional data collection and presentation methods for indoor radiation surveys + Improved radon flux canisters, gross alpha screening methods for determining thorium-230 concentrations in soil + GPS-based outdoor radiation survey methods. These innovations, along with maintaining a very large inventory of conventional radiological and industrial hygiene equipment, allow ERG to be responsive to most project needs, regardless of size.
