The Minnesota Children's Alliance believes every child reporting abuse should have access to the quality services provided through Children's Advocacy Centers. We are dedicated to helping local communities respond to child abuse in ways that are effective and efficient - and put the needs of the child and family first. To that end, we are committed to developing, growing and promoting Minnesota's Children's Advocacy Centers and multidisciplinary teams. The Minnesota Children's Alliance strongly believes that the combined professional wisdom and skill of a multidisciplinary team approach results in a more complete understanding of case issues and the most effective child-focused and family-focused system response possible. Multidisciplinary teams include law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, medical, mental health, advocacy and Children's Advocacy Center staff.
