The Balmoral Swim is a favourite on everyone’s annual swim calendar. A unique open water swim event offering different distances all held within the beauty and safety of Sydney Harbour. Whether you are new to ocean swimming or a seasoned veteran, there is a swim for you, making it a fun day for all. This year the Balmoral Swim will return to its original format with all swimming events being run on one day. However, the entire local community gets behind the event to make it happen. The Children’s Cancer Institute is the only independent medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to childhood cancer and every dollar received from the government and granting bodies to support direct research costs must be matched with a dollar raised by the community.
