EMTA unites 31 public transport authorities in Europe. The association fosters the sharing of experience on solutions that help authorities develop sustainable, smart and affordable mobility services. Its members organise the mobility of 95 million residents in 19 countries. EMTA represents public transport authorities in European institutions. It performs research in areas including decarbonisation, ticketing, Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS). It publishes the annual barometer of public transport statistics.
