Validation of Enclosure, or building envelope commissioning, affirms that the design is what the owner requires. We work with the thin layer between the inside and outside of the building to manage the flow of heat, water, and vapor through this “skin.” Next, we move owners and project team members towards Responsible Design in projects, with knowledge and leadership skills honed over 15 years. Verde helps create buildings that are durable, high performance, and enhance occupant well-being using rating systems such as WELL, LEED, and RELi. Finally, we aid Envelope Architecture. With WUFI hygrothermal software, we model the physics of heat and water flow in building envelopes. If building envelopes are not well designed, they grow mold, generate leaks, and waste energy.
