The Emergency Supply Pre-Positioning Strategy (ESUPS) Working Group was created in 2016 by stakeholders interested in improving the pre-positioning of relief items as a preparedness measure. We work to improve the predictability and relevance of pre-positioned emergency supplies. Our objective is to help define coordinated national and regional pre-positioning strategies, maximising time and cost efficiency of dispatch by promoting loan-borrowing, joint procurement and limitations in branding. ESUPS is currently funded by USAID.
