FDN Energy Ltd. is one of the more pre-eminent tyre pyrolysis plants operating in Bangladesh. Currently, the plant's processes close to 7000 metric tonnes of waste tyres per year amounting to approximately 7.7% of the total waste tyre generated in Bangladesh per year. The organisation's manufacturing unit employes the chemical process of pyrolysis to extract valuable materials from waste tyres and sells them back into the economy, thereby, contributing to the growth of the circular economy. Its main products include: - Pyro Oil Recovered Carbon Black Steel Wires Uncondensed Gas Heavy Crude Oil The plant is currently exploring options to increase its processing capacity and also expand to include setups that can process other waste materials than tyres.
