Spreading non-violence through art, The Ahimsa Collective is devoted to sharing all kinds of work with the world and creating communities thriving with creativity. We employ a highly collaborative exploratory process culminating in both individual and joint performance pieces. Taking great pride in our ability to recruit and find talent, we find nothing more satisfying than introducing and melding brilliant artistic minds. We facilitate and further ensemble conversations and reflections on a central topic or theme, which provide both a comfortable opportunity for honest, personal exploration and an ample supply of artistic inspiration. Our process forces not only the artists, but the creations themselves to be in constant dialogue with one another and inevitably merge to form something larger. As artists, we seek to question the bounds of theatre and the potential of community. We aim to blend dynamic, beautiful, and beautifully unpleasant aesthetics with simple and direct truths.
