Coffee Lab was founded by Isabela Raposeiras in 2004. It is a roastery lab, a school for baristas, a special cafeteria and a consultancy for everything coffee. The roastery, cupping and specialty coffee lab works with micro-lots of unique characteristics, eco-social sustainability best practices and origin tracking from the farm to the consumer package. We select some of the best Brazilian specialty coffees every new crop directly from producers and develop the best roasting profile for each coffee we sell. We exhaustively research how the beans act in different roasting profiles until we define the one that shine its full potential. Coffee Lab is the most awarded cafeteria in Brazil, based in São Paulo. Highly trained, English speaking baristas prepare freshly roasted coffee everyday for customers who can troubleshoot their doubts about the best specialty coffees in Brazil. Our portfolio is based on 5 principles: - non-stop research about coffee; - constant face-to-face contact with the customer; - best equipment; - method and discipline; - tons of love for coffee. The Coffee Lab school graduates more than 2.500 students per year, among baristas, roasting masters, and professional graders, through world class theory, practice, and facilities. We also offer courses for enthusiasts who do not want to work directly with coffee but want to learn more about how to prepare specialty coffee at home.
