Beacon Consulting is a private organization at the University of Toronto, aiming to provide student-run startups and other startups based in Toronto with connections to Venture Capital Firms and to all other resources they need to succeed. Our expertise comes from our strong connections with Asian Investors from Silicon Valley and China. Since 2016, we have cooperated with the majority of the top 50 Venture Capital Firms and major incubators in China. Furthermore, we are now collaborating with incubators in Toronto, University labs, as well as the Ontario Government. We’ve successfully held two 300 attendee-size forums as well as monthly 100-attendee-size entrepreneurial events since 2016. These attendees consists of University students and young professionals from Toronto, GTA and Montreal region. We have also developed close connections with the Chinese government and Venture Capital Firms from inviting them to Canada and bringing them on tours on a regular basis.
