Global Roots develops programs in areas of instability in which we use food security programs, such as our Children’s Garden Programs to address issues unique and endemic to the region. We partner with proven and transparent local organizations, establish a strong team for oversight and accountability and then create a community or school based garden, including hen house and rabbit hutch, which is used as a foundation for increasing school attendance, sourcing solid foster families and fighting issues such as female genital mutilation.
