www.culturadata.roThe National Institute for Research and Cultural Training (NIRCT) – an institution subordinated to the Ministry of Culture – is the only national institute that has as an objective the specialised research and training the professionals on the cultural sector. Our mission is to reach all the public cultural institutions, regardless of their level of subordination, as well as organisations operating in the cultural sector – by means of research and cultural training, in order to provide relevant statistical data on policies and strategies in the field of culture, at national and international level. Over time, both the Centre for Research on Culture (2005) and the Centre for Professional Training (1964) have equally focused the public opinion and professionals’ interest. The experts of NIRCT have carried out so far 70 studies and researches and have participated in 31 national and international conferences, have trained over 6000 beneficiaries coming from approximately 700 cultural institutions and have evaluated over 4000 candidates within sessions of skills evaluation.
