Fairfax County, Virginia will host the 2015 World Police and Fire games spread across the National Capital Region. The World Police and Fire Games will bring more than 10,000 competitors to the area. Many of its other 65 events including hockey, swimming, karate, and soccer will take place at venues such a George Mason University, Reston Town Center, Quantico Marine Base and the Kettler Capitals Iceplex. The 2015 games are tentatively set to run from June 26 to July 5 with the opening ceremonies at Robert F Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, D.C.
