The Journée Phare is a totally free Quebecois congress in Health Sciences gathering hundreds of participants each year from all the universities in Quebec and abroad. Firmly anchored in the french-speaking scientific community, the Journée Phare continues to solicit strong interest among students and researchers. The first edition has been founded in 2008 by 2nd and 3rd cycle students from the Université de Sherbrooke. During two days, the event usually includes plenary conferences from renowned guest speakers, student oral presentations and posters, a conference dinner presented by an industry guest and a cocktail, all aimed at highlighting the most recent scientific innovations.
