The Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) is the only global association for Clinical Data Management professionals worldwide. As a non-profit, international organization of 2,200+ members, SCDM was created to advance the discipline of Clinical Data Management in all regions of the world. SCDM is organized exclusively for educational purposes. Through collaborations and partnerships, the Society creates a network of professionals driving the industry forward and create new offerings that will support Clinical Data Management professionals from all horizons and career levels. To fulfil its educational purposes, SCDM offers educational programs – available both in-person and online, certifies Clinical Data Managers and produces publications – such as the award-winning standard Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP®), the peer-reviewed journal Data Basics and the e-newsletter Data Connections. As a global organisation, we have representation in the world's most important centers for our growth: Brussels (Belgium), Washington DC (USA), Mumbai (India) and Shanghai (China).
