The IISOH is a Pennsylvania non-profit educational, literary and research corporation under section 501(c)3 of the IRS Code and is organized to operate a Library and Museum for the History of Sport, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance, Sport in Art and the Olympic Games. The "Institute" plans to develop a large sports-oriented campus in central Pennsylvania and to raise an endowment of $300 million. Already started - the SPORT IN ART Poster Series. Wrestling and Gymnastics posters have been printed and are available wholesale!! We have also created videos that are posted on YouTube promoting wrestling and gymnastics. The fund-raising campaign is called the MILLION DONOR PROJECT and is designed to get one million people to make a single, once-in-a-lifetime donation to the IISOH of just $25.00 (twenty-five Dollars). With an endowment of $25 million to support the administration of the IISOH there will never be a need to go back to donors for a second request - we prefer to work on our mission than spend time fund-raising. However our landlord bailed out on us after two years of planning and thus we lost a large department store location that would have generated lots of activity in the community. So we are looking for another location instead and hope to open in the summer of 2018. But we do need your help!
