Our focus is the remediation of chlorinated solvents, metals, petroleum hydrocarbons and other recalcitrant contaminants in soil, sediment and groundwater. Research and Development/Technology Commercialization SiREM is active in research and development (R&D) and collaboration with leading research organizations. SiREM regularly provides samples and technical support to external research projects with SiREM and our research partners regularly publishing findings in leading technical journals and industry conferences. Extensive and ongoing R&D keeps SiREM at the forefront of remediation technology, allowing SiREM to provide leading edge products and services to our customers in this dynamic field. Products and Services: SiREM is widely recognized as a leader in bioaugmentation for chlorinated solvent remediation and bench-scale treatability testing applied to a wide range of remediation technologies including in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), in situ chemical reduction (ISCR), bioremediation and permeable reactive barriers. SiREM also offers a range of laboratory testing services for remediation site monitoring, management and optimization including Gene-Trac® testing for monitoring biodegradative microbes and other specialized analyses. Outreach: SiREM routinely participates in industry and academic events including conferences, guest lectures, charitable and other community events that bring the environmental remediation and remediation technology into our communities with the goal of increasing the profile of these beneficial services.
