Deep Eddy Psychotherapy, PLLC
www.deepeddypsychotherapy.comDeep Eddy Psychotherapy is family-run, fueled by passion, and humbled by the innate human capacity for healing. Jev and Sydnor Sikes built 508 Deep Eddy and transferred their private psychology practices here in 1984. For the Sikes, it was the beginning of an era of psychology study and growth in which they invested whole-heartedly in their training in individual and group psychotherapy and led counselor study groups to pass on what they learned. As part of their passion for building a vibrant psychotherapy community in Austin, they began hosting national trainers to teach the local counselor community. These experts would stay at their home, further sparking an interest in psychology in their two young daughters. In 2005, Dr. Charlotte (Sikes) Howard joined Deep Eddy Psychotherapy, bringing her incredible capacity for compassion and nurturance to her work. In 2008, Dr. Tori (Sikes) Olds and her husband, Dr. Glenn Olds, joined Deep Eddy Psychotherapy as well, adding to the team their shared passion for mindfulness, creativity, and deep internal exploration. The five of them were thrilled to become a family business. When it was time to expand, however, we were also excited to bring talented psychotherapists into our practice, counselors whom we felt could help meet their clients' needs and whose gifts and kindness support the collaborative feeling of Deep Eddy Psychotherapy. Our office manager, Lydia Hardwick, has been with us for 20 years and also feels like a part of the family. She is an integral part of the magic that happens here and will happily address your billing or insurance needs. Please contact us with any questions you may have, and we look forward to meeting you!
