The McVey family has been providing individuals and families in the Ottawa area with insurance protection for more than 50 years – originally beginning in 1961 when William and James McVey purchased the Alex Fraser Insurance Agency in Metcalfe. In 1998 – after many years of learning and growing in the insurance business – William’s three sons, Carson, Philip and Robert McVey opened McVey Brothers Insurance Brokers Ltd. In 2004, Robert McVey retired from the insurance business to pursue other business ventures. McVey Brothers is a family-oriented, relationship based brokerage. We pride ourselves in the making and preserving of both business and personal relationships with all of our clients. We are on a first name basis with most of our clients, and think of each of them as one of our own.
